One team for the build, and everything that comes after
TenGrains builds websites, apps, and internal systems for businesses in the US, UK, and Canada — then keeps them growing with content, website management, and paid media. The same six people do both halves, which is the entire point.
Why TenGrains exists
The pattern that started this was a clinic paying four vendors and still not knowing which one was responsible for the number going down.
One agency had built the website. A second was making social content from stock footage. A third ran the ad account. An in-house coordinator was trying to keep all three pointed in roughly the same direction. Every vendor could show a report where their part was working. Bookings were flat.
We took over the whole run — rebuilt the booking flow, turned the recordings they already had into a month of content, and put ad spend only behind the pieces that were already earning attention on their own. Inbound consults went up 34% in eleven weeks. Nothing about that was clever. It worked because one team could see the whole loop.
Six years on, that is still the shape of the company. We build the thing, we grow the thing, and we hand over documentation and access so the client is never hostage to us. Plenty of clients stay for years. None of them have to.
Five things we will not budge on
A number without a window is not a claim.
Every result on this site names the client type and the time it took. "34% more inbound consults — regional dermatology group, eleven weeks." We do not round for effect and we do not publish a figure we cannot show the working for.
Scope to the business, not to the portfolio.
The most common way an agency wastes a budget is building the impressive version of something when the useful version was two weeks of work. If a feature cannot be explained back to us by the client, it does not go in version one.
The content you already have is usually enough.
Most businesses are sitting on recordings, sessions, walkthroughs, and phone video they think is unusable. It almost always is usable. We would rather edit what actually happened than script something that did not.
Handover is part of the work, not an exit event.
Documentation, credentials, and a walkthrough with the person who will own it. If the only reason a client stays is that leaving would be painful, we have built the wrong thing.
If we are not right for it, we say so on the first call.
There is work we are bad at, and there is work that does not need an agency at all. Saying that in the first forty-five minutes costs us a project and saves you a quarter.
The engagement, start to handover
Four stages. You can stop after any of them, and the handover at the end is real — documentation, credentials, and a walkthrough with your team.
Scoping
A working session, not a pitch. We map what exists, what is broken, and what the number is that needs to move.
Build or set up
Design and development for a build; pipeline, calendar, and ad structure for a growth engagement.
Run and measure
Weekly numbers against the one metric agreed in scoping. Anything that stops paying for itself gets cut.
Handover
Accounts, repository, documentation, and a walkthrough with whoever is taking it on.

FlagshipClinics, institutes, and practices. We turn clinical and educational recordings into patient-friendly content, and rebuild intake and booking so referrals stop dying in a queue.
Ecommerce & Retail
Storefront builds, product content at volume, and paid media pointed at contribution margin rather than top-line revenue.

Content and ad systems built around class footage, member stories, and the membership number at the end of the month.
Professional Services
Websites, MVPs, and internal tools for consultancies and service businesses that need to move without cutting corners.
Education & Training
Course platforms, enrolment flows, and long-form content programmes built from teaching material that already exists.
Home & Trade Services
Quote-to-job automation, local search, and before-and-after content that does the selling for you.
Six people, and you talk to all of them
No account managers sitting between you and the work.
We hire slowly, and usually for work we have been doing badly ourselves.
There is no graduate scheme and no bench. When a role opens it is because one of us has been stretched across it for months and the work deserves someone whose whole job it is.
Send work rather than a cover letter. An edit, a build, an ad account you turned around — whatever the thing is that you would want us to judge you on.
